Veterans football in Swansea, open to all ages from 35 upwards.
Affiliated to the Wales Veterans' Football Association, the Club has grown from four teams in its debut season to six age groups today, fielding sides from the O40s through to the O70s.
Swansea Veterans' Football Club was formed in 2023 to foster and promote the sport of football within the veterans' community, giving players over 35 the chance to keep playing competitively and socially long after mainstream football has moved on without them.
The Club is affiliated to the Wales Veterans' Football Association and abides by its Codes of Conduct, its safeguarding policy, and its equity and equality policy. Membership is open to anyone interested in the sport, regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
What began as a single squad in 2023 is now six teams strong, with members representing Wales at O70 and O75 level on the international stage.
The Club currently fields teams across six age groups — O40, O50, O55, O60, O65 and O70 — each competing in its own WVFA league and cup. Since our first season, members have represented Wales at international level, and the honours below reflect a squad that competes seriously in every division it enters.
O70s win the Workwear Supermarket.com Cup, beating Penybont 1–0 in the Final at Cardiff University's Llanrumney Stadium.
O60 first team win the O60 League outright and reach the Cup Final, finishing runners-up 0–1 to Newport.
O60s complete the double in the Club's debut season — League champions and Cup winners, beating Barry Town 1–0 in the Final.

Away from domestic competition, Club members have been capped for Wales across several age groups. In 2025/26, Wales O70s won the World Cup in Japan and Wales O75s were outright European champions, with several Swansea Vets players among the representative squads.
Training runs twice a week on 3G at Penyrheol Leisure Centre, open to all members regardless of age group. New players are always welcome to come down, join in and meet the squads before committing to a team.
League and cup fixtures are played on Sunday afternoons, also at Penyrheol, with age groups sharing the pitch across the two available slots.
Membership is open to anyone interested in veterans' football, on completion of an application and payment of the relevant subscription set each year at the Club's Annual General Meeting. Subscriptions are kept as low as the Club's costs allow, so that fees are never a barrier to taking part.
